We are a mixed farming business located near Camborne in West Cornwall. The Olds family have been farming at Cornhill since 1912 when Harry Olds moved from Lelant. Since then we have gradually expanded the farm and currently farm 350ac.

We have 17,000 hens in our free range enterprise and use 300ac of our land  for growing crops to feed our chickens, we also run a contracting business that complements the work we do on the land.

We will once again be opening our farm to all to visit on the 28th June 2026. This is an opportunity to meet the hens and see inside our hen houses, have a go at grading and packing eggs, learn more about our arable enterprise and how we grow, harvest and mill our own grain for our hen feed. There will be lots of machines on display, tractor trailer rides (one trailer is wheelchair accessible) down to our wildlife pond for pond dipping, meet more farm animals such as our pigs, plus other farm animals will be there on the day.

This year, we will be holding our farming activities from midday to 5pm, from approximately 5pm – 7pm the band Double Bounce featuring none other than our very own Len Olds will be playing in the Barley Barn! We will be having refreshments throughout the day and hope you can all stay and join us for this at the end of the day.
